Valve asked for a day-one Steam Frame port of Underdogs, without multiplayer

One Hamsa says Valve asked for Underdogs on Steam Frame at launch. Multiplayer is still being ported, though the game's store page lists Online PvP.

One Hamsa says Valve asked it to bring Underdogs to Steam Frame on day one. The studio says it spent months tuning the VR mech fighter for the headset, but multiplayer is still being ported. It has given no date for that mode's Frame release.

The claim comes from One Hamsa's September 22 Steam post. Its line about "GabeN" calling is written in the game's playful voice. As MIXED notes, Valve has not confirmed that it requested this port.

What it says about the launch library

The studio's post is evidence that at least one developer says Valve sought a launch-day Frame port. It is also a reminder that a game arriving on the headset can arrive with fewer modes than its existing Steam version. One Hamsa says multiplayer will come to Frame "soon," but says the port is unfinished.
