Rank and discount answer different questions
The order can change within minutes. MIXED saw three of the top ten swap places across two checks nine minutes apart. The report supplies no unit sales or revenue figures to compare, so the positions offer limited evidence for choosing one game over another.
The filter also matters. These are VR Only results. Steam's separate VR Supported list includes games with a flat-screen mode, and its top ten shared no titles with this list at the reported check.
Beat Saber and Gorilla Tag also have spending beyond the base purchase. MIXED counted 279 DLC entries on Beat Saber's store page and found in-app purchases on Gorilla Tag's listing. Budget for the extras you want separately.
